Sam Jay is a comedian born on 13th January 1982 in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. She has been writing the sketch comedy show “Saturday Night Live” since 2017. Before starting her comedy career, she worked as a music manager. In 2018, she performed in the series “The Comedy Lineup.” She also appeared in the standup comedy television series “Comedy Central Stand-Up Presents.” She released her first standup comedy, “Donna’s Daughter,” in 2018.
From 2016 to 2018, she starred in the television sitcom “Take My Wife.” she also performed comedy in the talk show “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” and at the Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in 2017. Jay also co-created the series “PAUSE with Sam Jay” with Prentice Penny. She also co-created and co-starred in the television sitcom “Bust Down,” which premiered in March 2022 on Peacock.
