Sinead Katherine Kelly is an English actress and presenter who was born on November 19th, 1979. She made her television debut in 2003 when she was featured on “Last of the Summer Wine.” Kelly achieved notoriety for playing Becky McDonald in the ITV soap opera “Coronation Street” from 2006 to 2012. She went on to win multiple awards in 2012, including the National Television Award for Best Serial Drama Performance. Since leaving “Coronation Street,” she has portrayed Lady Mae in the ITV drama “Mr. Selfridge,” Leah Dale in the ITV drama “Cheat,” and the main character of Sally Wright in the second season of “Innocent.” Moreover, Kelly also gave noteworthy performances in “Happy Valley,” “Class,” “The Night Manager,” “Criminal: UK,” and the second season of “Liar” as DI Karen Renton.
