The Chats Bio
The Chats are a punk rock band from Australia that started their musical journey in 2016, on the Sunshine Coast in the state of Queensland. "Shed rock" is how they characterise their musical style. The lineup of the band consists of Eamon Sandwith on bass and vocals, Matt Boggis on drums, and Josh Hardy on guitar. They are best known for their songs that discuss diverse aspects of Australian culture. In 2017, their song "Smoko," and the music video that accompanied it, became an internet sensation. They have issued two extended plays (EPs), titled “The Chats” (2016) and “Get This in Ya!!” (2017), in addition to their debut studio album, “High Risk Behaviour,” which was issued on March 27th, 2020.
