Taras Maksimuk Bio

Taras Maksimuk is a Ukrainian-American YouTuber was born on 5th August 1993 in Lutsk, Volynska Oblast, Ukraine. He is best known as the creator of the TechRax channel which started out as a regular tech blog. In 2012, he made the transition to tech destruction videos which keep the viewers on the edge of their seats as he puts expensive gadgets through extreme durability tests. The first video that he posted in this series was that of an ‘iPhone 5 Hammer Smash Drop Test’. While he features products from brands like Samsung, Apple products get maximum views on his channel. The format of his videos are similar including drop tests, stress tests and other experiments that deliberately destroy gadgets. For instance, one of his videos featured an iPhone being crushed under a train and another one featured a Samsung Galaxy S6 phone being boiled in water. He raises funds for these products through advertising. One of his most viewed videos is the destruction of a $10000 Apple Watch Edition. It helped his channel reach over 7.6 million subscribers.
