Power Trip Bio
Power Trip is a metal band formed by Blake “Rossover” Ibanez, Riley Gale, Nick Stewart, Chris Ulsh, and Chris Whetzel in 2008. The group is based on Dallas, Texas.
The group released a self-titled EP containing three tracks which were dropped in 2011. The group has been active and they appeared in the Pitchfork Music Festival in 2012. The year after, the signed with Southern Lord. Their debut album, Manifest Decimation, was released in 2013. This was followed by Nightmare Logic 2017 which includes the tracks Executioner’s Tax (Swing of the Axe), Waiting Around to Die, and If Not Us Then Who. Both albums were released under Southern Lord Records. In 2018, the group released the compilation album Opening Fire: 2008–2014. They also released “Hornet’s Nest” which is part of the Adult Swim Singles Collection.
