Christopher Aubrey Shiflett is an American musician, guitarist, and actor who was born on May 6th 1971 in Santa Barbara, California, United States.
Chris rose to fame as the guitarist for Foo Fighters. He started his career with Santa Barbara outfit Lost Kittenz. He later joined 'No Use for a Name' in 1995. Chris’ debut album with Foo Fighters was ‘One by One’ which dropped in 2002 and helped him solidify his place with the band. In 2010 Chris released his solo album Chris Shiflett & the Dead Peasants on Le Coq Napoleon. Three years later All Hat and No Cattle followed. His third album West Coast Town dropped in 2017 with Hard Lessons following in 2019.
As an actor and composer, Chris is known for Real Steel (2011), Boyhood (2014) and Orange County (2002).
