Whitehorse is a Canadian folk duo formed by Ontario-based singer and songwriter Melissa McClelland and Luke Doucet. By the time the married couple decided to pursue a joint career in 2011 they were already striving professional musicians. That same year they released a self-titled debut on Six Shooter Records. A second album titled The Fate of the World Depends on This Kiss earned critical acclaim and a Polaris Prize nomination. The duo then decided to follow with a cover EP under the name The Road to Massey Hall. A collection of french versions from their songs went out in 2014 as the Éphémère Sans Repère EP. Their third LP Leave No Bridge Unburned (2015) earned the Juno Award for Adult Alternative Album of the Year in 2016.
