Dot-Marie Jones Bio

Dorothy-Marie Jones, better known as Dot-Marie Jones, is an American actress, producer, and retired athlete best known for her work in film and television. She was born in Turlock, California, United States, on January 4, 1964.

Dot-Marie was initially known as a college athlete, competing in track, softball, shot put, and powerlifting competitions. Dot-Marie made the switch to acting in 1992 when she appeared in the TV series Knights and Warriors. She has since had recurring roles in the TV series American Horror Story, The Resident, UnREAL: The Faith Diaries, Have You Met Miss Jones, Venice the Series, Hawthorne, My Wife and Kids, Lizzie McGuire, and Married... with Children, but she is best known for starring in the comedy-drama series Glee alongside Lea Michele, Jane Lynch, Matthew Morrison, and Amber Riley. Dot-Marie’s filmography includes Bros, Bar Fight!, 3 From Hell, Golden Arm, Muffin Top: A Love Story, and Stray Dogs.

She has received three Primetime Emmy nominations for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series (Glee).
