Rosemary Kathleen Lavelle, better known as Rose Lavelle, is an American professional soccer player who plays as a midfielder in the National Women's Soccer League. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, United States, on May 14, 1995.
Rose spent her formative years playing for Sycamore United, Cincinnati United, and Wisconsin Badgers, and she began her professional career in 2017 when she was selected by the Boston Breakers as the first overall pick at the NWSL College Draft. She has since represented Washington Spirit, Manchester City, and OL Reign, and throughout her time with OL Reign, Rose played alongside Jordyn Huitema, Megan Rapinoe, and Tobin Heath.
She has also been a mainstay in the US Women’s National Squad since her debut in 2017.
Rose’s career highlights include winning the FIFA Women's World Cup, Women's FA Cup, CONCACAF Women's Championship, Tournament of Nations, and SheBelieves Cup.
