Tamsen Fadal Bio
Tamsen Fadal (born on December 4, 1970, in Concord, Massachusetts) is an American journalist, author, and television personality, best known for her accomplished career in broadcasting, establishing herself as a respected figure in the media industry.
Fadal obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism from the University of South Florida in 1992. She embarked on her broadcasting career as a morning anchor for WHNZ Radio in Tampa, Florida. In 2002, she travelled to Afghanistan to cover the war alongside American troops, demonstrating her commitment to delivering news from the front lines.
Throughout her career, Fadal held positions at notable television stations, including WPGH-TV in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, WFTV in Orlando, Florida, WOWK-TV in Charleston, West Virginia, and KYW-TV in Philadelphia. In 2004, she joined WCBS in New York City, where she further established herself as a prominent news anchor and reporter.
She joined WPIX-TV on March 24, 2008, where she reported and anchored for the Morning News, covering breaking news and feature stories. She has received numerous accolades throughout her career, including several local Emmy awards and the prestigious Ellis Island Medal of Honor in 2016.
