Kathryn Nageotte, better known as Katie Nageotte, is an American professional pole vaulter and athlete who represented the United States at international competitions. She was born in Lakewood, Ohio, United States, on June 13, 1991.
Katie began her professional pole-vaulting career in the early 2010s, but she became famous in 2021 when she won gold at the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics, out-vaulting Anzhelika Sidorova, Holly Bradshaw, Katerina Stefanidi, and Maryna Kylypko. Katie has also won gold medals at the 2022 Eugene World Championships and the 2018 Toronto and NACAC Championships.
