Karen Jane Wallace, better known by her stage name Jessie Wallace, is a British actress who was born on September 25th, 1971, in London, England. Her debut on television was in the 1999 season of the British police procedural drama “The Bill.” In the television show “EastEnders,” she is portrayed by the actor who plays the role of Kat Slater. In addition, she appeared as Patricia Phoenix in the British television series “The Road to Coronation Street.” She is the recipient of a number of prizes for her work in soap operas, including the award for best actress in a British soap opera in 2011. Moreover, she was nominated for a BAFTA award for best supporting actor for her work in the role of Patricia.
