Ticiane Pinheiro is a television host, actress, and ex model from Brazil. She was born Ticiane Andréa Mendes Pinheiro Tralli, on the 16th of June, 1976, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She started her career as a child, in 1984, when she debuted as a presenter on TV Criança, alongside journalist Sandra Annenberg. In 1989 she debuted as an actress portraying Talita in “Kananga do Japão” a soap opera which treated subjects like pedophilia and child prostitution. Soon after, Pinhero participated in the series “Fronteiras do Desconhecido”. In 1990, she was signed to Ford Models where she walked for major brands such as Dolce & Gabbana and Gucci. In 1999, she played waitress Nina in the soap opera “Terra Nostra”. In 2002, she joined the cast of the series “Sítio do Picapau Amarelo”, playing the mermaid of the Brazilian folklore Iara. In 2005, she participated in the soap opera “Prova de Amor” as Maria Dulce. In 2012 she hosted “Top Model, O Reality”, the Brazilian take on “America’s Next Top Model”.
