Perry Farrell is a singer and songwriter born on 29th March 1959 in Queens, New York, United States. He is widely recognized as the lead singer of the musical group Jane’s Addiction. The band became popular in the mid-1980s after building a large fan base with high-performance shows in small Los Angeles rock clubs. The band’s first three albums included “Jane’s Addiction,” “Nothing’s Shocking,” and “Ritual de lo Habitual”.
After the band was dissolved, Farrell formed another rock band called Porno for Pyros with former band-mate Stephen Perkins in 1992. They released two albums: “Good God’s Urge” and “Porno for Pyros”. In 1999, Farrell started his solo career. In 2001, he released his first solo album, titled “Song Yet to Be Sung”. He went on to release a few solo tracks online. In 2018, he signed with BMG Rights Management and released his second album “Kind Heaven” in 2019.
