Mark Curry Bio
Mark Curry was born on June 1st, 1961 in Oakland, California. He attended California State University, and first appeared on film in Talkin’ Dirty After Dark (1991) with Martin Lawrence. His first significant television appearance saw him portraying lead character Mark Cooper on Hangin’ with Mr. Cooper (1992), a role for which he is most well known. Since then he has appeared on The Jamie Foxx Show (1996), Armageddon (1998), The Drew Carey Show (2000), and various Disney Channel Original Movies.
He has also worked as the host of shows Animal Tails (2003), Coming to the Stage (2003), and FoxxHole Live (2009-2011), and has performed as a standup comedian on The Comedy Festival Laffapalooza Special (2008), Royal Comedy Tour (2012), and Sommore’s Standing Ovation Comedy Tour (2014).
