Coming from Brighton, England, Black Peaks was formed in 2012. It is a progressive, post-rock band. Original members compose of Joe Gosney, Liam Kearley, and Andrew Gosden. They started making music under the trio name Shrine. Then when Will Gardner joined, they were able to release their EPs. In 2012, “Carpet Worms” was released followed by 2013’s “Kursk” and 2014’s “Closer to the Sun.”
After the releases, the band adopted the name Black Peaks, and started to get the attention of major music labels. They were able to sign a deal with Sony Music. Their album “Statues” was released in 2016 following the singles “Glass Built Castles” and “Saviour.”
