Mistah F.A.B. Bio
Mistah F.A.B., born Stanley Petey Cox, is rapper, producer, and activist from Oakland, California. After having signed to Straight Hits Entertainment in his early 20s, he released his debut album Nig-Latin in 2003. Mistah F.A.B. continued to develop his craft as a battle rapper in the following years. His sophomore album, Son Of A Pimp, was released in 2005 and garnered acclaim for its infectious singles “N.E.W. Oakland,” and “Super Sic Wit It.” A year later, he released “Ghost Ride It,” from an unreleased project, and the song would quickly become one of his most successful. The song popularized “ghost riding,” a staple of the Bay Area hyphy movement that involves the driver exiting a moving car and dancing outside it as it continues moving by itself. Mistah F.A.B.’s most recent album, Son Of A Pimp Pt. 2, was released in May 2016.
