Trigger Hippy is a rock band formed in Nashville, Tennessee. The members of the group are Steve Gorman, Nick Gorvik, and Guthrie Trapp. The group debuted in 2009 at Macon, Georgia’s Cox Capitol Theatre. In 2011, the group started touring all over the country. They started recording their debut album in 2012 in San Francisco’s Mission Bells Recording Studio in California.
In November 2013, the group released Back to Black Friday, an EP. Trigger Hippy has also been performing at The Peach Music Festival the year after. The group released its debut album in 2014 under the Rounder Records.
Trigger Hippy contains 11 tracks, the most popular of which are “Rise Up Singing”, Adelaide”, “Heartache on the Line”, “Cave Hill Cemetery”, “Turpentine”, “Dry County” and “Pretty Mess”.
