The White Noise Bio
The White Noise is a screamo / post-hardcore punk band originating in Texas, but relocated to Los Angeles, California. Their rotating line-up is currently meshed into David Southern (vocals, rhythm guitar, bass), Shawn Walker (vocals, bass), Josh “KJ” Strock (lead guitar), Bailey Crego (bass, backing vocals, rhythm guitar), and Tommy West (drums). Southern and former member Alex Summers formed the band originally as Set The Sun, before its current incarnation.
The White Noise as released a studio album “AM/PM” (2017), an EP “Aren’t You Glad?” (2016), and numerous singles, besides much more work as Set The Sun. The band cites influences such as Nine Inch Nails, Jawbreaker, The Used, and Asking Alexandria. They have toured with peer bands Anti-Flag, Stray from the Path, and Sharptooth.
