Anjana Basu is a Bengali actress who was born in the 1980s in Howrah, West Bengal, India. She attended both the Howrah Girls' School and the Bijoy Krishna Girls' School in her hometown. She went on to study at the Rajabazar Science College, and received her bachelor's degree in psychology. Anjana has appeared in a number of performances and telefilms in addition to training in the dance form of Bharatanatyam. Both the 2003 film “Robir Aloy” and the 2005 film “Raat Barota Panch” included her as an actress. She gained a substantial amount of fame after appearing in the “Krishnakali,” a television series in Hindi. Moreover her other works include, “Durga,” “Byomkesh Phire Elo,” “Abhimaan,” and “Angshumaner Chhobi,” amongst others.
