Kari Lake (born August 23, 1969 in Rock Island, Illinois, USA) is a producer, writer, and American politician, best known for KSAZ-TV Fox 10 (1953), Lindell-TV (2021) and War Raw The Daily Podcast (2020). She has been married to Jeff Halperin since September 26, 1998.
Lake started working as an intern for KWQC-TV in Davenport, Iowa while still in college. Later, she joined WHBF-TV in Rock Island where she worked as a daily reporter and weekend weathercaster. She replaced Chris Kapostasy when she joined WNYT in Albany, New York, before returning to Arizona in 1999 to work as an evening anchor for Phoenix television station KSAZ-TV.
After working for Phoenix television for 22 years, Kari stepped down from her anchor role in March 2021 and announced her campaign for governor of Arizona on June 1, 2021. She was the Republican nominee in the 2022 Arizona gubernatorial election.
