Suzanne Marie Somers is an American actress, producer, singer, author, and health spokesperson best known for her work in film and television. She was born in San Bruno, California, United States, on October 16, 1946.
Suzanne began her acting career in the late 1960s with appearances in the films Bullitt and Daddy's Gone A-Hunting, but she became famous in 1977 when she joined the cast of the comedy series Three's Company, which also featured John Ritter, Joyce DeWitt, Don Knotts, and Priscilla Barnes. She has since had recurring roles in the TV series She's the Sheriff, Step by Step, Hollywood Wives, and Starsky and Hutch, and her filmography includes Serial Mom, Say It Isn't So, How to Live Forever, and American Graffiti.
Suzanna has won two People's Choice Awards for Favorite Female Performer in a New TV Series.
