Guy Branum is an actor, comedian, and writer born on November 12, 1975, in Marysville, California, USA. He earned a bachelor's degree in history and political science from the University of California, Berkeley, and a law degree from the University of Minnesota Law School. His career began as a staff writer and sketch performer on Unscrewed with Martin Sargent. He was also a writer on Chelsea Lately.
Guy broke into acting with appearances in films like No Strings Attached and TV series like Black Box. He wrote scripted comedy for shows like Awkward and The Mindy Project. He starred in and co-produced the rom-com Bros. Guy was a 2021 nominee for Pena de Prata for Best Comedy Series.
In 2018, Guy released his memoir My Life As A Goddess, which made NPR's 2018 Good Reads List and Entertainment Weekly's Must List.
