2Play is the stage name of Wesley Johnson who also goes by the name of Special T and Wesley J. He was born in London, England on July 22, 1977. Two of his songs made it to the UK Top 10 singles, namely: “It Can’t Be Right” featuring Raghav and Naila Boss and “So Confused” featuring Raghav and Jucxi. The tracks placed at No. 8 and No. 6, respectively. He also won the UK Asian Music Awards for Best Single for “So Confused.” Another song featuring Jucxi and Thomas Jules, “Careless Whisper” made it to No. 29 of the UK charts. He released the album Never Give Up in 2018 which includes nine songs like “China Girl” and “Summer Tears.” He was one of the featured artists on Sharon Shannon’s “Got a Hold of Me.”
