Ana Ortiz Bio
Ana Ortiz was born on January 25, 1971 in Manhattan, New York. She began her acting career in 1995, appearing in such shows as Kristin (2001), AUSA (2003), and Boston Legal (2006). In 2006, she also landed the role as Hilda Suarez in Ugly Betty. It was this role that she won an ALMA award for in 2007. In 2013, she landed her next big role as Marisol Suarez in Devious Maids, which ran until 2016. After the end of that role, Ortiz had some one-time appearances on Family Guy and Angie Tribeca. She has also acted on Broadway, playing Chrissy in the show Hair. She currently has three films that are in production and scheduled for release within the next two years. Some other notable awards include three Imagen Foundation Awards.
