James Spader was born on February 7, 1960 in Boston, Massachusetts. Spader’s first major role was with Brooke Shields in Endless Love (1981). After a few years, he started playing in many movies such as Pretty in Pink (1986), Less than Zero (1987), Mannequin (1987), Wall Street (1987), Baby Boom (1987), and Sex, Lies, and Videotape (1989). Spader’s career continued as he also starred in White Palace (1990), Bad Influence with Rob Lowe (1990), True Colors with John Cusack (1991), The Music of Chance (1993), Stargate (1994), Crash (1996), 2 Days in the Valley (1996) and Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015).
Besides movies, Spader also guest starred in many TV series, such as Boston Legal, The Office, and The Blacklist. For his roles, Spader has won 3 prime time Emmy Awards, a Golden Globe, Best Actor Award at Cannes Film Festival and multiple Screen Actor Guild Awards.
