Teresa de Jesús Buenfil López, widely known as Erika Buenfil, is an actress, TV host, and singer born on November 23, 1964, in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico. She made her first appearance in the telenovela Acompañame in 1977. In 1979, she appeared in El amor llego mas tarde, Añoranza, Lágrimas negras, and La llama de tu amor.
Erika is best known for her exceptional performances in telenovelas such as Amor en Silencio (1988) and Tres Mujeres (1999–2000). Her portrayal of Victoria Balvanera de Brizz in Amores Verdaderos (2012–2013) earned her widespread acclaim and recognition. She has hosted several TV shows, including Mañanitas a la Virgen de Guadalupe, Hoy, and Xe-Tu.
Erika has made guest appearances on several programs, like Sugar Rush: The Baking Point, Noches con Platanito, and Miembros al aire.
