Dinesh D’Souza Bio

Dinesh Joseph D'Souza (born April 25, 1961 in Mumbai), India) is an Indian-American right-wing political commentator, author, filmmaker, and conspiracy theorist.

D'Souza has written over a dozen books, several of them New York Times best-sellers. He has also produced and directed several documentary films, some of them among the highest-grossing political films of all time. He went to the United States in 1978 as an exchange student and attended Dartmouth College, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English in 1983.

D'Souza began his career as a journalist and policy analyst. He worked as an editor for Policy Review, a conservative journal published by the Heritage Foundation. He also served as a domestic policy advisor in the Reagan administration from 1987 to 1988.

D'Souza has written extensively on topics such as American politics, culture, religion, and history. Some of his notable books include Illiberal Education (1991), The End of Racism (1995), The Enemy at Home (2007), The Roots of Obama's Rage (2010), America: Imagine a World Without Her (2014), and The Big Lie: Exposing the Nazi Roots of the American Left (2017).
