Khireddine Youcef, widely recognized by his stage name Didine Canon 16, is a prominent Algerian rapper and songwriter renowned for his contributions to hip-hop music. He was born in Staouéli, Algiers, Algeria, on January 2, 1993.
After joining the music scene in 2012, Didine Canon 16 rapidly garnered attention within the underground music circuit. The release of his debut single "Hak Do9" in 2013 marked the inception of his musical journey. In 2017, he solidified his presence with the launch of his debut album titled "Alcatraz."
Transitioning his artistic approach in 2018, Didine Canon 16 ventured into mainstream music, broadening his appeal and swiftly ascending to become one of the most esteemed rappers across the Maghreb region. His repertoire boasts an impressive array of hit singles including "El Walida," "Tesla," "Sous Tension," "Babel," "SULAIMAN," "Aicha la vie," and "Jwabi," alongside the release of the album "Atlantis." Didine Canon 16's collaborative efforts have further enhanced his acclaim, notably teaming up with esteemed artists such as Cheb Bilal and Foufa Torino on the single "Barrio."
