Formed in 2004, Dem Franchize Boyz is a rap quartet that originated in Atlanta, Georgia. Its members include Maurice Gleaton (Parlae), Jamal Willingham (Pimpin’), Bernard Leverette (Jizzal Man), and Gerald Tiller (Buddie). Dem Franchize Boyz signed a contract with Universal Records in 2004, through whom they released the their debut self titled album. In 2005, they released their single “I Think They Like Me”, which featured rappers Bow Wow, Jermaine Dupri, and Da Brat and went to the top of the Billboard R&B Charts. They later released the album On Top Of Our Game in 2006, featuring the hit song “Lean Wit It, Rock Wit It”. 2008 saw the release of their third studio album Our World, Our Way on Koch Records.
