Karen Kilgariff Bio

Karen Kilgariff was born on Petaluma, California on May 11, 1970. She hosted the top-rated podcast My Favorite Mystery with Georgia Hardstark.

She portrayed Jean Pettengill in Late Friday. She appeared on the Girls Guitar Club, The Book Group, and in I Confess, a TV movie.

She was the head writer for four episodes of Ellen: The Ellen DeGeneres Show (2006 to 2007), 24 episodes of The Pete Holmes Show (2014), 10 episodes of Portlandia (2017), one episode of Making History (2017), and three episodes of Baskets (2017 to 2018).

She also appeared as herself in the TV shows Conan, Flophouse, and Harmontown. She was one of the judges in Talk Show the Game Show and one of the interviewees in the documentary A Crime to Remember.
