Spencer West Bio
Spencer West is a motivational speaker and disability advocate born on 7th January 1981 in Rock Springs, Wyoming, United States. He was born with sacral agenesis, which led to the amputation of his limp. In the early days of his career, he worked at a salon and spa as an operations manager. He later worked at a TV newsroom as a volunteer. In 2008, he traveled to Kenya with a close friend to support a school-building effort called Free the Children.
This inspired him to share his personal experiences as a person living with a disability. In June 2012, he climbed Mount Kilimanjaro with his friends Alex Meers and David Johnson in an effort that raised more than $500,000 for Free the Children charity. He met singer Demi Lovato, and in 2014, he was the opening speaker on the Demi World Tour.
