Holly Holm Bio
Holly Holm was born on October 17, 1981 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She is one of the greatest female boxers. She wanted to join wrestling when she started high school but she ended up joining kickboxing and had her first fight at the age of 18. Her trainer, Mike Winkeljohn, saw her potential and in 2001 she won the amateur kickboxing tournament, which kicked off her career.
She won both WBF female world welterweight and world welterweight titles which led to her being named the female fighter of the year in 2012. In 2013, Holm retired and chose to pursue a career in MMA. She signed a multi fight contract with UFC and has won quite a number of awards. She appeared in the film Fight Valley (2016) alongside Miesha Tate.
