Alexander Henry Fenwick Armstrong (who’s popularly known as Alexander Armstrong or Xander) is a British actor and comedian who was born on March 2nd 1970 in Rothbury, Northumberland, England, UK. His parents were Angus Armstrong and Virginia McCausland and he had three siblings.
Alexander is famous as one-half the comedy duo Armstrong and Miller which he formed with Ben Miller. Alexander is also known for providing the voice for Professor M in Tooned and alien supercompute Mr Smith in the Doctor Who spin-off The Sarah Jane Adventures. As an actor and writer, he is best known for his work on The Armstrong and Miller Show (2007), Match Point (2005) and Birthday Girl (2001).
