RAYE Bio
Raye, born Rachel Keen on October 24th, 1997 in London, England is a British singer and songwriter. She specializes in the genres of pop, R&B, and dance-pop. She began her musical career in 2014 with the release of her debut EP called Welcome to Winter. In early 2015 she released her debut single “Flowers.” In the same year she released her follow up single “Alien.”
In 2016 Raye released her second EP entitled Second. Her first single off the EP, entitled “I, U, Us,” was released in October of 2016. She was then a featured artist on the Jonas Blue single “By Your Side” which received international critical acclaim. The song peaked at number 15 on the UK Singles Chart. She was then featured on the song “You Don’t Know Me” by Jax Jones. The single peaked at number 3 on the UK Singles Chart. In 2017 Raye performed her first concert as a headliner at XOYO in London and was also featured on the Starrah track “Dreamer.”
