Rex Orange County Bio
Rex Orange County is the whimsical stage name of an English indie musician who’s just starting out with a career. In 2016 he posted the self-produced single “UNO,” garnering some online notice, but apparently not enough to keep the lights on at his domain rexorangecounty.com , down at this writing. He blends hip-hop, jazz, and self-produced experimental electronica. It is simultaneously fresh and like nothing anybody’s heard before.
Most recently, Rex Orange County’s single “Loving Is Easy” is charting on Spotify, produced in collaboration with Dutch pop artist Benny Sings. He’s climbed all the way up to Billboard magazine interviews, a write-up in Vice magazine, and a guest shot on the TV show “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” Let’s wish him luck; we’re sure to hear more from him.
