Ayanna James-Kimani Bio
Ayanna James–Kimani is a Jamaican-American costume designer and fashion stylist. With a career that began as a fashion blogger, her success in that medium led to he becoming an assistant celebrity styles, and she soon found herself with her own clients, working most recently with Issa Rae for three years on the HBO television show Insecure, and also working with director Ava DuVernay on Jay Z’s Family Feud short film.
With credits that include the television miniseries, Chase Champion, Step Up All In and The Great Escape, she has enjoyed a long carer as a costume designer and is now better known as a celebrity stylist. A social media influencer with a strong following on Instagram, she utilises the platform to show off her skills as a stylist and to promote her own projects.
