Joshua Buatsi Bio
Joshua Buatsi is a professional boxer born on 14th March 1993 in Accra, Ghana. He is known for holding the British light-heavyweight title in 2019. He started his career in England, working hard with his trainer Terry Smith until he joined Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing. In 2016, he faced Elshod Rasulov in the lightweight competition at the Summer Olympics and won the fight via knockout in the third round.
His professional debut came in July 2017 when he faced Carlos Mena. Buatsi won the bout via knockout. In September, he faced Baptiste Castegnaro and won the fight via knockout. In March 2019, he won the British light-heavyweight title after defeating Liam Conroy by knockout in the third round at the Copper Box Arena. In May 2021, he faced Daniel Dos Santos and won the fight via knockout in the fourth round.
