Sean Carl Roland Pertwee, popularly known as just Sean Pertwee, is a British actor and narrator who was born on June 4, 1964, in Hammersmith, London, England. Born into a theatrical family, he made his debut on the big screen in 1987 when he participated in the movie “Prick Up Your Ears”. He then participated in several TV series including “Hard Cases”, “Chancer”, “Clarissa” and “Cadfael”. He also has appeared in numerous famous movies among which stand out “Soldier”, “Event Horizon”, “Equilibrium” and “Dog Soldiers”. One of his most popular roles is that of Alfred Pennyworth in the famous series “Gotham”, starring Ben McKenzie, Jada Pinkett Smith, and Donal Logue. He also stars in the horror movie “The Reckoning” opposite Charlotte Kirk and Steven Waddington. For his role in this movie, he received awards at Los Angeles Film Awards and Los Angeles Independent Film Festival Awards.
