Andy David Kindler is an actor, comedian, voice artist, and industry critic born on October 16, 1956, in Queens, New York, USA. He is an alumnus of Binghamton University. He gained prominence for his recurring role as Andy on the sitcom, Everybody Loves Raymond, which aired from 1996 to 2005.
Andy was a regular guest on Late Show with David Letterman, a contributor to The Daily Show, and has performed on HBO. In 1991, he wrote The Hack's Handbook for National Lampoon. He is associated with the Just for Laughs Comedy Festival, where his State of the Industry address has become an anticipated annual event among comedy insiders.
Andy has appeared on The What's Update with Xander Kwiecien, WTF with Marc Maron, Tales from the Trip, and The Stand-Up Show with Katherine Ryan. He starred in The Fiddling Horse, I'm Dying Up Here, Talking Tom and Friends, and But I'm Chris Jericho! He voiced Mort, the mortician in Bob's Burgers.
