Alma Andrea Meza Carmona is a model, beauty pageant titleholder, make-up artist, and software engineer born on August 13, 1994, in Chihuahua, Mexico. She earned a bachelor's degree in software engineering from the Autonomous University of Chihuahua. Her pageantry career began with her being crowned Miss Chihuahua in 2016.
In 2017, Andrea won the prestigious title of Miss Mexico, earning her the opportunity to represent her country on the global stage at the Miss World 2017 competition. Her remarkable performance led her to be crowned the first runner-up and bestowed the title of Miss World Americas, placing her among the 2017 Miss World Continental Queens of Beauty. She was the first runner-up behind the 2017 Miss World winner, Manushi Chhillar (India).
In 2020, Andrea became the third Mexican woman to be crowned Miss Universe. She hosted the Spanish-language TV show En Casa con Telemundo. Andrea debuted at the New York Fashion Week as a model for the legendary brand and fashion designer Custo Barcelona.
