Hailing from Paris, France, L'Impératrice is a French band that performs pop, electro, and Nu-disco music. The group consists of Charles de Boisseguin on keyboards, Hagni Gwon on the keyboard, Achille Trocellier on guitar, David Gaugué on bass guitar, Flore Benguigui on vocals, and Tom Daveau on drums. L'Impératrice was formed in 2012, and later that year, they released their eponymous debut project, L’imperatrice. Their discography includes the hit singles Agitations Tropicales, Vanille Fraise, Sonate Pacifique, Parfum Theremine, Voodoo, and the albums Matahari and Tako Tsubo. Their music was featured in the album VOID: Ne Disco alongside Marie Madeleine, The Superman Lovers, Yula Kasp, and Les Gordon.
