Maria Elena Bello, known professionally as Maria Bello, is an American actress, writer, producer, and TV personality best known for her work in film. She was born in Norristown, Pennsylvania, United States, on April 18, 1967.
Maria began her acting career in 1992 with a role in the film Maintenance and has since become well-known for her work in film and television. She has had recurring roles in popular TV series including NCIS, ER, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Prime Suspect, Touch, Goliath, and Beef. Her filmography includes The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor, Payback, Sin City, World Trade Center, Lights Out, The Woman King, and Grown Ups, which also featured Adam Sandler, Salma Hayek, Kevin James, and Chris Rock.
In addition to her acting work, Bello is also a writer and producer and has worked on several films and TV projects. She won a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series for her work on ER.
