Leandro Bolmaro Bio
Leandro Nicolás Bolmaro (born September 11, 2000, in Las Varillas, Argentina) is an Argentine professional basketball player. Bolmaro is a shooting guard/small forward who currently plays for Bayern Munich of the German Basketball Bundesliga (BBL) and the EuroLeague. He also represents the senior Argentina national team.
Bolmaro began playing basketball in his hometown of Las Varillas, Córdoba, Argentina. He started playing with the youth teams of a local sports club named Almafuerte. Bolmaro began his professional career on July 16, 2017. He signed with Estudiantes de Bahía Blanca of the Liga Nacional de Básquet, which is the top basketball league in Argentina.
In 2018, he moved to FC Barcelona where he played for the reserve team. He played for the Minnesota Timberwolves and Iowa Wolves during the 2021-22. He played for Salt Lake City Stars before being traded to Lenovo Tenerife in March 2023. In October 2023, he signed with Bayern Munich.
Bolmaro has won several awards throughout his career. He won Liga ACB champion and Spanish Cup winner in 2021 while playing for FC Barcelona. He was also awarded ACB Most Spectacular Player in 2021.
