Marc Kinchen known as MK or 4th Measure Men was born on August 3, 1972 in Detroit, Michigan. He started his music career when he was still 17 years old. He started pumping out hits like “Somebody New” in 1989. He collaborated with Never on Sunday to produce “Decay.” In 1991, he released “Burning” featuring Alana which peaked at No. 7 of the Us Dance Club charts. Another song featuring Alana, “Always” topped the Dance Club charts in the US and peaked at No. 69 of the UK charts. “Always” was off his album Surrender. Other tracks in the same album which saw much popularity include “Love Changes” and “Burning ‘95” and both features Alana. Other songs by MK include “17,” “Back & Forth” which is a collaboration with Becky Hill and Jonas Blue, and “There for you” with Gorgon City.
