Sofia Montserrat Aragón Torres, popularly known as Sofia Aragón, is a model, TV presenter, speaker, actress, and author born on February 13, 1994, in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. She is an alumna of Cinema Makeup School and Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara. She worked as a special effects makeup artist until 2017. Sofia is the CEO of Soswami Makeup, an organic makeup company.
She is the director of GLAMexico, a growth platform for Mexican talent. She has published several women's empowerment books, including Diamante en Bruto (2017) and El color de lo Invisible (2019), and De amor no se muere (2022). Sofia is the host of Venga la Alegría and TV Azteca's La Voz.
She was crowned Mexicana Universal Jalisco in 2018 and Mexicana Universal by Andrea Toscano in 2019. She represented Mexico at the 2019 Miss Universe, placing third, the highest since Ximena Navarrete won Miss Universe in 2010. Her verified Instagram account has over 1.1 million followers.
