Christopher Rene, better known as Chris Rene, is an American singer, songwriter, producer, and TV personality best known who performs R&B, pop, and rock music. He was born in Santa Cruz, California, United States, on December 25, 1982.
Chris began his music career in the early 1990s when he joined the band Diversion, and he went solo in 2009 with the release of his debut album Soul’d Out. He became famous in 2011 when he competed in the first season of the reality series The X Factor, which featured Paula Abdul, Simon Cowell, Nicole Scherzinger, and L.A. Reid. He made it through all the preliminary rounds of the competition to the grand finale where he finished third.
Chris’ discography includes the hit singles Young Homie, Trouble, Rockin’ With You, Gonna Be Ok, and the album I’m Right Here.
