Marcela Luz Valladolid is an American chef, TV personality, and author best known for her work in television. She was born in San Diego, California, United States, on July 19, 1978.
Marcela made her TV debut in 2005 when she finished fourth in the competitive TV show The Apprentice: Martha Stewart. She has since made several appearances on the TV shows Today, The Talk, The Kitchen Sink, Mexican Made Easy, and The Best Thing I Ever Ate, but she is best known for starring in the reality show The Kitchen alongside Jeff Mauro, Katie Lee, Geoffrey Zakarian, and Sunny Anderson.
Marcela has written the cookbooks Mexican Made Easy, Casa Marcela: Recipes and Food Stories of My Life in the Californias, Fiestas: Tidbits, Margaritas & More, and Fresh Mexico: 100 Simple Recipes for True Mexican Flavor.
