Cadet Bio
Born in 1990, South Londoner Cadet (Blaine Cameron Johnson) gained popularity uploading freestyle flows across social media, Known for his personal lyrics, Cadet’s song “Letter to Krept” earned him more than 5 million views on YouTube. In February of 2019, Cadet was killed in a car accident on his way to a Staffordshire gig at Keele University, Cadet. Following his death, Cadet’s memory was honored by his cousin Casyo “Krept” Johnson (of the rap artists Krept and Konan) across social media. Before he died, Cadet’s collaborative single “Advice” reached 18 million views on YouTube and peaked at #27 on the British single charts.
