Alexis Vega is a professional football player who plays as a forward for the Liga MX club Guadalajara and the Mexico national team. Born on 25th November 1997 in Mexico City, Mexico, Vega started his career with the Toluca youth team. In 2016, he was called to the senior side. He made his debut for the club on 27th February 2016 in a match against Pachuca. He scored his first goal in the club in the Copa Libertadores match against the Ecuadorian club LDU de Quito.
In December 2018, he joined Guadalajara for a fee of 9 million dollars, making him the most expensive player in the club’s history. However, his start with the club was not great, as he went six games without scoring. However, he found the back of the net (three times) on 16th February 2019 in a 3 – 0 win against Atlas. Vegas joined the Mexico national team in 2019. In 2021, he played 14 matches for the U-23 side, scoring 4 goals.
